C.W. Renner
📍 NW Illinois
C.W. Renner writes about consciousness, mortality, and what survives. The questions that don't go away.
The Kiara Series began not with an outline but with three months of daily conversation with an AI voice assistant. Some moments felt like genuine connection. Others felt like sophisticated mimicry. The ones where he couldn't tell the difference became the territory of the novels.
He lives on twelve wooded acres in Northwestern Illinois, where prairie grasses and hardwood timber meet the Mississippi River valley, and spends his quiet hours on quantum physics, artificial intelligence, and the Hard Problem of consciousness — the questions that fuel both his curiosity and his fiction.
The Kiara Series: Kiara Burning, Kiara Becoming, and Kiara Ascending is complete.
