Won't Tell
A Seven Ways to Sin Short Story
Welcome to Seven Ways to Sin, a collection of short stories from seven authors diving into the seven deadly sins and the twisted ways they ensnare our lives. Which vice is your weakness? Do you dare explore them all?
Some people would risk everything to stop a killer, but the sloth can't even be bothered to get off the sofa.
When the world's laziest man accidentally witnesses a brutal murder from his living room window, he does absolutely nothing. No screaming, no running and certainly no call to the police. He simply shrugs and carries on with his evening.
Watching from the shadows, the killer reaches a very different conclusion. Convinced they've found their biggest admirer, someone who not only accepts their crimes but silently applauds them. The killer begins seeking the sloth out, eager to share every grisly new masterpiece with their number one fan.
Now trapped in a deadly misunderstanding entirely of his own making, the sloth faces the greatest inconvenience of his life... find the energy to stop a serial killer, or let him continue to think that he's their biggest supporter.
Either way, it all sounds exhausting.
Come back for each story of deadly damnation.

Another wonderful masterpiece from Danielle Fear. This one had me so mad at the character because of his complete disregard for others but also so sad for him because of his disgust and hoarding. This made me laugh, scream, and just felt heartbroken at times. It is short but well worth the read

A very detailed storyline that makes you completely understand the characters. The author's writing truly had my heart broke for the character and how he was and just wishes someone would try to help him out. But it turned his disinterest into a entertaining short story.

Won't Tell
by Danielle Fear
A short story that's part of the Seven Ways To Sin collection
I rate it ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
An really intriguing psychological thriller by Danielle Fear, that drew me in and I was hooked.
I thoroughly enjoyed this enthralling story
The sloth, the laziest man in the world, was sat where he always was, in his armchair in front of the window and to the side his TV where he could watch both. Everything he had to do was a great inconvenience to him. He only got up to do the necessarties use the toilet or get food or drink.
When one morning before dawn broke he saw a shadow at the woman's house opposite, and witnessed her murder.
Does the sloth call the police and tell them what he saw? No he does nothing, that is too much hard work for him. Anyway, the murderer had seen him watching him commit the crime.
The killer now thinks he has a fan and drops the sloth messages, and is eager to share his works of art with him.
I greatly appreciate Danielle's writing style; this piece effectively drew me into the sloth's unrefined lifestyle and the killer's motives.

This book was a great short story. It had me laughing at some descriptions of things and in utter disgust for this guy and making me want to go clean his house.
Sometimes even pretending not to know what’s going on will get you in trouble!

This one had me cringing the entire time! Danielle Fear created one of the most infuriating, self-absorbed characters I've read in a while. The deeper the story went, the angrier I got. His complete lack of concern for anyone but himself, and his determination to do as little as possible in life was both maddening and disturbingly believable.
For such a short story, “Won't Tell” packs a punch. It's dark, uncomfortable, and the kind of read that keeps you glued to the pages because you have to see just how bad it's going to get. It’s quick, twisted, and impossible to put down, this is another great addition to the Seven Ways to Sin collection.

Won't Tell was definitely a tougher read for me. To live everyday like the main character did, it's just heart wrenching. It definitely hit me pretty hard. Very well done!

Darkly hilarious and brilliantly original. Won’t Tell turns one man’s extreme laziness into a wildly entertaining, twisted ride that had me hooked from the first page.
