I loved the characters from the first book, The Distraction, and starting book 2 was like coming home to see what the sleuthing friends were going to get involved in this time. This series is such a lovely mix of mystery with a little romance. It's a lighter read than my normal thrillers, more of a cosy thriller which gave me a welcome break after a string of heavier reads. There are some fantastic characters and some quirky ones too. I loved catching up with Brooke, Zoe, and Chrissy again, and Aunt Lucy was a riot! Can't wait to carry on with the series.
