A Solid Supernatural Mystery
A really good read that sweeps you away, in spite of some grammar errors. There was also some formatting strangeness (spacing mostly), but that could have easily been on my Kindle app.
This is a deceptively easy read in that it's easy to get sucked in, but don't be fooled: the subjects of murder, mentions of pedophilia and families torn apart are as dark as they come.
The supernatural element was interesting; I wish Cleo had been more filled out as a character, though. We don't see a lot of interactions with her and Andy after a while as the DCIs kinda take center stage, which is fine, but you do definitely get a POV switch about half way through, which is also when it really picks up
Reccomended for anyone looking to break into the supernatural murder mystery genre and well worth the read.
