This was an interesting book 2. We are 20 years after book 1 and we get to see everyone come back together and get to know each other again as adults still carrying around the trauma they experienced. We find out some important information in this and definitely does a great job at setting up book 3. Can't wait to see how it ends!

4.5⭐️ I couldn’t wait to go back to Blackshore, and book 2 did not disappoint! I loved getting to follow Autumn, Jamie, Jesse and the rest of the characters years later and seeing how everything from book 1 still affects them. Autumn and Jamie really had my heart in this one. ❤️ Their connection felt more grown and emotional, and I was rooting for them the whole time. And THAT ENDING?! 😳 You cannot leave me like that! I need book 3 ASAP! 🌊🖤

I was given a free copy of this book and I absolutely freaking loved it!
I wasn’t sure how book 2 was going to follow on from the first book, but I honestly never saw this coming. I read it in just two days because I was completely hooked.
I absolutely loved Jamie and Autumn together. They are just so cute! Their relationship is different from Autumn and Jesse’s in the first book because Autumn was younger and in love with Jesse then, and I really liked seeing this new side of Autumn and watching her relationship with Jamie develop.
I also loved how their relationship was mixed in with everything going on with the ghosts. There was so much happening that kept me on edge and I never knew what was going to happen next.
And that ending… WHAT?! I actually shouted out loud. That has to be one of the biggest cliffhangers I’ve ever read! 😂
I need book 3 now because I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!

I loved how the supernatural elements slowly unfolded, blending perfectly with the emotional tension between the characters.
The romance adds another beautiful layer to the story. It’s a slow-burn connection that feels natural and heartfelt, and somehow their love seems tied to the very heartbeat of Blackshore itself. Watching the past and present collide while something ancient awakens beneath the surface kept me completely hooked.
Mysterious, romantic, eerie, and deeply atmospheric—this is a perfect read for fans of gothic fantasy, supernatural thrillers, and haunting small-town legends. I didn’t want to leave Blackshore by the final page.

I am speechless.
This book was everything and more that I wanted in the sequel, and it completely blew past any expectations. I went through elation, heartbreak, worry, and everything in between. I am so completely invested in this story and the characters, and I fear I am already going through withdrawal as I wait for the last book.
So good. So, so good! Who would have thought that a pirate story would be my favourite read of the year.

This story just gets better and better and I am currently dying to get stuck into book 3! It's full of adventure and twists. Has a bit of a love triangle too.
