What did just happened? I am lost for words on how this book affected me. Traumatized? Shocked? I’m not sure. What I am sure of is that this might be a short story but it would make you commit to each chapter with all your eyes, heart, and soul. The ending was very unexpected. I thought I already found the twist, but it gets twisted some more until you end up with a mind blowing turn.

First of all, thank you to Tayler Vaughn and InsideStory for letting me read this ARC and once again reminding me that people can wear so many faces you start questioning if anyone is actually who they say they are.
Well… damn.
I inhaled this in under thirty minutes. Not only because it’s short, but because it grabbed me by the throat and refused to let go. Every time I thought I had something figured out, my brain confidently walked itself into the wrong room. My theory? Completely useless. Thanks for that. 😅
The worst part? I can’t even properly tell you why I loved it without ruining the experience, and this is one of those stories that deserves to hit you completely unprepared.
If you love thrillers that quietly mess with your head before pulling the rug out from under you, this absolutely belongs on your TBR. There’s one serial killer. Or maybe there isn’t. There’s a search for answers where every clue feels intentional, where people become suspicious, and the past keeps reaching into the present in ways you don’t see coming until it’s already too late.
It’s dark. It’s clever. It’s unsettling in that delicious way where you finish the last page and just sit there thinking… Well, that’s disturbing.
So yes, five “apparently I trust absolutely nobody anymore” stars. Because if a story can completely scramble my brain in under half an hour, it has earned every single one of them.

Tayler Vaughn’s Insatiable Depravity hits the ground running with a dark, engaging narrative that alternates between Jenny's perspective and the killer's point of view. Getting a direct look inside the killer's head adds a deeply unsettling layer to the plot that grabbed my attention right away. Vaughn has a real talent for painting vivid mental pictures, and the sharp writing makes it easy to visualize every scene as the tension builds.
Because the chapters are short, the pacing feels relentless, driving the story forward without any drag. The plot holds its own throughout, but the ending is where the book truly shines. That final twist caught me off guard and wrapped up the suspense in the best possible way. This book touches on some dark themes so I suggest checking trigger warnings before diving in.

This was a great book by Tayler, but really all of hers are good.
I had an inkling of what was going on but then thought no, it can’t be. There were twists I didn’t see coming. I was kind of in a reading slump and this is what I’m talking about when I need to find something to get me back on track again. Short, to the point and has the twists!

Wow. Just wow. “Insatiable Depravity” by Tayler Vaughn completely caught me off guard. That twist? I never saw it coming. It’s dark, disturbing, and packed with tension. I loved every moment as I devoured it. If you enjoy dark reads with unexpected twists, this one is definitely worth reading.

This short story hits the ground running from the first sentence. It has the perspective of Jenny and The Killer. You may have an inkling of what is happening but the twist is an OMG ending.
