Sachi
I was trapped in a nightmarish conversation
when a gorgeous man in a masquerade mask
saved me with a kiss.

He pretended to be my date.
He danced with me.
Enchanted me.
Then, invited me home with him.

It was supposed to be a delicious night of anonymity.

I never expected our paths to cross the very next day.
Me with my Mafia friends, and him … the police detective.

What to expect from Mistletoe Masquerade: Cinderella story Holiday Masquerade ball Secret identity One-night stand Alpha hero Jealous/possessive hero Law enforcement Billionaire
For those of you who are new to me, I write what I'd call "mafia lite." My heroes are hardened criminals with soft spots for their heroines. There may be violence and cruelty in my books, but never between the main characters. Enjoy!

This book had a really strong start and an intriguing premise that pulled me in right away. I genuinely felt like it had the potential to be something I would love. Unfortunately, it was just too short and ended up feeling rushed.

I wanted more depth—more character building, more emotional development, and more time to actually connect with the characters. Because everything moved so quickly, the story never fully landed for me, and it ultimately fell a bit flat.

That said, the foundation was there, and with more substance and expansion, this could have been a much stronger read. A decent story overall, just not as impactful as it could have been.
