I went into this book blind. Didn’t read the TWs, nothing. And I’ve never read this author before. So with that being said. What the ever living …did I just read!? This was dark. One is the darkest I’ve ever read. The horror, the gore, that taboo. Everything but the kitchen sink was in this. I’m a huge horror fan. But even this made me question things. This crawls into the darkest recess of your mind and takes up residency. It lurks like a twisted shadow that has no intention of ever vacating. This was seriously twisted. But I was so captivated, there just wasn’t any putting it down. I had to keep going. The pull was strong to resist. This was one of the most dark and twisted wild rides I’ve ever taken before. And honestly, it was well worth it. One I plan to take again soon.

“Oh my God…” “WTF” “Jesus, dude…” A few of the phrases I muttered to myself as I was reading this story. Lust, demons, vampires… oh my!
Sins of Isis is a wonderfully written delve into the state of wrong, yet never feels distasteful. Let me be clear, read the warnings, it will not be a read that all can handle, but those who can handle it’s content will be rewarded by a smart and structurally sound tale of depravity and the human condition. The afterword goes on to explain the authors concept and breakdown the why of the story which gives the reader a better sense of what they’re now digesting. This is the second book I’ve read from Whitedale, and he has convinced me he is an author to follow!
