Hush, little baby — don’t say a word. This book lulls you into a lullaby of dread and then rips the blanket away. Logan’s choices unravel like threads on a haunted dress: intimate, inevitable, and unbearably tense. I was hooked from the first whispered threat and stayed for the slow, delicious melt into chaos.
The prose is equal parts lullaby and blade — beautiful, sharp, and obsessed with the terrible things we do for love. The characters are messy and magnetic; their secrets feel personal, like fingerprints left on your skin. When the pages paint everything red, you’ll feel it in your teeth.
If you want a read that will mess with your head, pull at your sympathy, then leave you breathless and gleefully unsettled — this is it. Monsters don’t want happy endings, and neither will you after this one. Absolute must-read.
