Pieces coming together and falling apart… there’s a fair amount of exposition but I’m still in! Time for the final chapter…

To understand the monsters in the world, you have to crawl inside their heads. It’s a dangerous place to linger—because the longer you stay, the easier it is to lose your own sense of morality.
That’s never been me. I don’t waver. I don’t second-guess. Right is right. Wrong is wrong. No gray areas.
But this case? This town? It’s breaking all my rules. Every lie unearthed burns hotter than the last, and every shard of truth cuts deeper. With each revelation, my gut twists, my heart pounds, and I hate this place a little more. Worst of all, I don’t even know who to trust anymore.
