This is a very exciting and intense domestic/ psychological thriller!! There are so many twists and turns throughout! I was hooked from page one and couldn’t stop listening!!

What happens when you trade one bad relationship for another one? Addy wants love and a happy and safe relationship. She has a fast connection with Heath, but things don’t stay pleasant for very long.

This book is full of suspense, tense moments and lots of secrets!! Crazy surprises at the end too!

Samara Cove is a must read author for me!

This book is very well written and kept me super engaged!

I listened to the audio version and all of the narrators did a fantastic job! The audio version was so fun to listen to!!

By the time this book ended I had no idea who to believe. Though all things considered, Heath is fucked up. I had a great love-hate relationship with the characters in this book. None are all good or all bad but all have questionable decision making abilities. As much as I disliked Addy, I liked her independance and smarts when it comes to how she handles Heath but by the end you almost understand everyone's motives but suspicion lingers long after the story ends.

Great read.

Wow. Samara Cove did not play around with this one! I just finished Almost, and my mind is absolutely spinning.

It is a brilliant, fast-paced psychological thriller that pulls you straight into the mystery. The atmosphere is completely unsettling, the characters are wonderfully flawed, and the twists caught me completely off guard. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, the plot completely shifted.

This book is easily a 4.5 out of 5 stars for me! If you love domestic suspense that keeps you guessing until the very last page, add this to your TBR list immediately.

This book pulled me in fast and kept me questioning everyone the entire way through. The grief, secrets, and tension between Addy and Heath created such an unsettling atmosphere where nothing ever felt completely safe or honest. Every time I thought I had a handle on what was happening, another twist would shift everything again.

Addy was an especially interesting character because you never fully know whether to trust her, sympathize with her, or fear what she’s hiding. The relationship development between her and Heath felt intense and obsessive in that way domestic thrillers do best—where love and danger blur together until you can’t separate them anymore.

The pacing stayed strong throughout, and the constant feeling of paranoia made this incredibly hard to put down. While a couple reveals felt slightly predictable for me, the overall tension and addictive writing more than made up for it.

Dark, messy, and full of secrets, this was a solid psychological thriller that kept me hooked from beginning to end.
