Predictable ending to a degree but the story kept me interested throughout. I like that the author includes notes and texts in the novel. It was a fun way to break up the text. The beginning has "I Know What You Did Last Summer" vibes with a modern twist. The ending was fun. Overall, I felt the quality of the writing was good but I hated the female main character though I think that is okay.

This was my first read by this author, and I look forward to reading more. I loved the writing style and found this story so enjoyable. It had everything I could ask for from a psychological thriller, with layered tension throughout. I love it when I get to the end of a book with a little wry, satisfied smile, and this one gave me that. Fab!
