For such a short story, this one delivered everything I wanted in a thriller. The story follows Claire and Meredith, two women whose lives have been destroyed by the same man, and the twists that unfold after a dead body changes everything.
The pacing was fast, the tension never let up, and I was completely invested in seeing how these two seemingly separate lives would connect. The author did a fantastic job creating suspense while still developing characters I cared about in a limited page count.
Dark, gripping, and satisfying from start to finish, this was a quick read that left a lasting impression. If you’re a fan of revenge-fueled thrillers with plenty of intrigue, you’ll want to add this one to your list.
