⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars, no notes.

I genuinely cannot believe the Steele Brothers keep getting better with every single book, but here we are. The Mr. & Mrs. Mistake absolutely wrecked me in the best way, and Lincoln Steele? Yeah… he did not disappoint.

Lincoln is that supportive, steady, emotionally intelligent man every woman dreams about—well, except when it comes to stubborn, fiercely independent, “I’ll do it myself” Willa. And listen… I fell hard for this man. Like, might-have-just-snuck-his-way-into-my-top-MMCs-of-all-time hard.

And Willa? You can’t help but love her… while also wanting to gently (or not so gently) shake her. You see her drowning. You know accepting help would make life easier. But at the same time, her pride, drive, and work ethic are so admirable that you can’t even be mad at her for it. She feels real. Messy. Human. And that just made me love her more.

And can we talk about the marriage of convenience trope for a second? Because COME ON. It gets me every time, and this one was done so well. Tension? Check. Slow-burn feelings? Check. Emotional payoff? Absolutely.

Add in the found family element—because the Steele family will fully take you in with open arms—and the quirky small-town characters that make everything feel alive (Mabel, my spicy queen 🌶️), and this book just hits on every level.

Honestly, if Brighton Walsh writes it, I’m reading it. No questions asked. She’s officially an auto-buy author for me, and I am completely, unapologetically obsessed with her writing.

If you love marriage of convenience, found family, swoony MMCs, and small-town charm—do yourself a favor and pick this one up. 💙📚
