Star Dust Prequel to the Jewel Order Trilogy

Stardust follows a dysfunctional family with a fierce loyalty to one another—except for one questionable member. At first, I wasn't sure where the plot was heading, but everything clicked perfectly during the last few shocking chapters.

The Fantasy world-building feels a bit like Greek mythology. Each member of this celestial family has their own physical form to live on one of the planets in their "Metal System." They use telepathy and can travel between planets, even tracking their ages in "rotations" instead of years. Time moves quickly there.

The story starts when the siblings are young and age quickly, focusing on the close bond between Vanessa (Nessa) and her baby sister, Avianna (nicknamed Trouble). There’s mystery surrounding both girls' unique traits.

There’s one brief mature scene that caught me off guard, but it makes total sense once you hit those final chapters.

Nessa's story continues in Diamond, the first book in the Jewel Order Trilogy. I already bought the paperback and can't wait to see if the siblings’ bond holds strong. If it is anything like this prequel, I know I'm going to love the twists!
