When Natalie recognizes the “Man of the Year”, a millionaire who is famous and untouchable, on the cover of a tech magazine as the last one she saw her best friend with, she decides to get as close to him as possible as his new housekeeper in her desperate search for answers.
What starts off as an easy plan to watch him closely and gather evidence quickly begins to become more than she bargained for as something is clearly wrong about the mansion he calls home. Was Natalie really the one setting the trap, or did she walk into one set by the “Man of the Year”?
Xander does an incredible job of building tension around the characters, keeping readers hooked as they uncover the layers of each one and uncover the secrets they all are hiding. The plot itself is fast-paced, filled with unexpected twists and turns that keep the suspense high while also offering moments of genuine emotional connection that make the stakes feel real.
