Seriously, about three-quarters through, something dropped that made me stop cold. I had to just sit there, blinking, trying to piece it all together. It hit so hard I almost went back to reread the whole thing from the beginning, just to see what I missed. And that’s the magic of this book—it’s layered, smart, and refuses to spoon-feed anything.

Man this was hard to get through knowing this actually happens on a daily. To think I went to school to be a Crime Scene Investigator, not sure how long I would have actually made it once I had my girls of my own. But I absolutely LOVED the Dexter vibes!!

The audiobook I think Alyssa did an amazing job narrating. There were bits throughout the audio that went in and out, but overall great!
