The Secret Grove

Maureen Winters was thirteen when she met a “Magical fae prince” at camp.

Asteri loved to dance, play flute, change shape and make flowers grow when they played together. At night he took her to a place he called the Secret Grove.

Because the girls from her cabin couldn’t see him, they teased her until it ruined her summer. He had vanished and never returned, but she dreamed she would see him again.

Twenty years have passed. The summer camp they loved is closing for good. Maureen's former camp mates have Invited her to a reunion camp out. She knows they don’t remember how much they hurt her long ago. but that's not why she has agreed to come. Renewing once rocky friendships isn’t on her mind. When she goes camping with the “girls”, she’s searching for any hint of that sweet memory of the prince.
