This is my first read showing the implementation of coding skills to fight against corrupted systems inside governments and corporations. The real-time use of hacking skills to bring back social justice and fairness. And you know what? I am beyond impressed.

The blend of tech, science, and rebellion here is spot on. The tension, built from coding processes, living under surveillance, and hiding from digital traces, spreads through every chapter and makes your heart pound through most parts of the story.

The fire in this young hacker’s fighting spirit is conveyed so well here. The impact of all the struggle and sacrifice to restore justice in the Brazilian economy literally pinched me deep. But honestly, all of that just becomes a set of spices that makes the story even more exciting to follow.

I don’t know if this is the correct term, but I’d call this an adrenaline-pumping book. Even without combat scenes that make your head spin, you still get so many applications of science, technology, coding, and computing concepts that instantly pump you up once your reading begins.

Not gonna lie though, aside from feeling excited, this book also drained me emotionally from the endless digital tension that looks quiet from a distance. I even had to skip a few chapters before finally making it to the ending.

But hey, maybe this book fits you better than it fits me, right? What happens during my reading journey doesn’t automatically happen to yours too.
