If you’re a 90’s slasher buff, this is going to be your thing. I had a blast with it.
First off, let’s just talk nostalgia! It’s 1992 No cell phones, no social media, no quick google searches when something goes horribly wrong Just you ,your friends and some questionable decisions.
Honestly, though, it was the cover that grabbed my attention . Who remembers TV Guide? The second I saw it I knew it was immediately going on my tbr pile, just for the nostalgia hit alone.
Then there’s the illustrations at the beginning of some of these chapters. SO GOOD. Don’t know who deserves credit for those but they were also a fun addition, if that was you Ms. Daniels , kudos to you!! I’m particularly partial to “ just stab it” , not sure what that says about me🤷♀️? But let’s carry on.
Buffy and her brother witness something horrific years ago, and now the place where it occurred is turned into a haunted attraction. Except the scares aren’t fake, and someone is waiting for them to return to scene.
It’s the perfect book to kick off spooky season, our favorite season off all!🎃😱👻
