TRICK OF FEAR: Halloween Short Story (Detective Caleb Reed Series)

As always just like her other books, I freaking enjoyed this short story. It's cute, spooky, and it's the perfect addition to the Caleb Reed series. There is a build up of tension right to the end. It quickly pulls you in so you can't put it down and finish in one sitting.

“Trick of Fear” by Jessica Lynn Sorensen is a suspenseful thriller that offers a peek into Caleb and Cassidy’s lives. The tension builds quickly throughout this short story, pulling me in right away, and I couldn’t put it down.

A delightful short burst of suspense. Jessica allows you a quick glimpse into Cassidy and Caleb's life in the quick read bringing with it joyful Halloween banter with a six year old during trick or treat adventures and suspense of the unknown hiding in the dark. Great to read in a day and get the intriguing desire to learn more about Cassidy and Caleb.
