A Twist of Night and Day The Asteria Chronicles 1
He was my bully...Now his life is in my hands.
---
He hated me, and I hated him. I was perfectly fine with that until one night changed everything.
His entire family was murdered before his very eyes--and despite how much I hated him, I couldn't let him die. Now, we're entangled in a dangerous trial to hunt one of the deadliest Elder fae creatures in existence. Can I keep him alive long enough to escape the Night Court crown that I never wanted?
Or will I lose my heart and myself in the process?

Never trust a faerie — apparently especially when they’re as dangerous as they are heartbreakingly human. The stakes are huge (an Elder fae that could doom Asteria), and the action hits when it needs to, but a few pacing and character beats kept me from fully investing. Intriguing worldbuilding and a tense central mission make this worth a read, even if it didn’t quite land for me.
