Dark, chilling, and impossible to put down. From the very first paragraph, this story grips you by the throat and does not let go. The haunting imagery of the victims posed like dancers is both beautiful and horrifying, setting the tone for a twisted, intelligently crafted thriller.

Detective Jo Fournier is a standout protagonist—driven, flawed, and deeply human. Watching her navigate a tightening investigation, professional roadblocks, and personal sacrifices adds real emotional weight to the story. The small-town setting works perfectly, peeling back layers of “picture-perfect” façades to reveal secrets that are far more disturbing than expected.

The mystery unfolds at a relentless pace, with chilling connections to cold cases, mounting tension, and revelations that genuinely surprised me. The themes of control, hidden lives, and overlooked victims are handled with depth and care, making this more than just a standard serial killer thriller.

Creepy, smart, and emotionally charged—this is the kind of book that keeps you up late saying just one more chapter. A must-read for fans of dark crime fiction and psychological thrillers.
