Necromantic Getaway (The Catseye Chronicles, 2)
Necromantasy is the new romantasy in Necromantic Getaway, the sequel to the wildly fun romantic fantasy Hopeless Necromantic. For fans of Gideon the Ninth, The Irresistible Urge to Fall for your Enemy, Long Live Evil or Assistant to the Villain.
SHE'D FOLLOW HIM ANYWHERE, EVEN THROUGH HELL ITSELF. SHE JUST WISHES HE'D STOP GOING THERE.
Sikras is a necromancer who raises the dead, but to save the soul of his best friend he needs to journey down to the fiery realm of Chthonia, to fulfil a deal with one of its hellish inhabitants.
He cares too much about the demoness Helspira to ask her to follow. But he's never had to ask. Even though Chthonia is the site of her greatest trauma, and the one place she never thought she'd return to, she's determined to stand by his side.
To survive there, Sikras will have to lean into his dark side, and Helspira will learn things about him that test the fragile bonds the two are forming. How far will Sikras really go, and how far can she follow?
FALLING IN LOVE CAN BE ONE HELL OF A JOURNEY.

This story was everything I hoped it would be. It's funny and heart warming. The chemistry between the main characters is amazing. I love the banter. Now this book may be a romcom but expect some tears. It does touch on some tough subjects including loss of loved ones.
I listened to this one on audible. It is performed in dual narration. I love the voices of the narrators (Tom McNulty and Rebecca Perfect) They did a great job portraying their characters. My only complaint is I wish it was in duet but it did not take away from the story. I still recommend it whether you read or listen.
