Ari’s phone begins predicating the future, and no, unfortunately it’s not the winning lottery numbers. It’s the kind of notifications nobody wants. Each message is a premonition of the death of a loved one. And each time Ari, stops and saves a life , a new message and premonition more brutal than the last appears.
What had me most relatable to Ari, wasn’t what was going on with her phone , it was her life. Ari is a mother dealing with terrible migraines and a family, meanwhile her phone is throwing one nightmare at her after another. Ice Packs? Meds? Pain? Absolutely no rest for the weary. GIRL I FEEL YA!! At times I felt like hey, is this me were talking about🤣
Every time there was another drop I was immediately on edge wondering who was going to be next on the clip. It’s constant tension as Ari figures out what’s happening before the warnings cost her literally everything!
This was such a fun, twisted read. If you enjoy psychological suspense with a supernatural-techy twist this is for you!

I will admit this book was a bit longer than I would have liked but it was so worth it! It kept me wanting to keep reading it until the very end. And that ending? Absolutely perfect.

Book ReviewARC⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Phantom Drop by Cori Nevruz Release date: October 27, 2026
If a book can make me paranoid about my own phone while simultaneously making me question reality, I’d say it did its job pretty damn well. Thanks to Cori Nevruz and Inside Story for the ARC.
