I always say that JL Hyde could write a cookbook and I would stand in line in the pouring rain to get it — and I don't even cook. That's just the kind of author she is, and Witches of Westridge is proof of exactly why.
Another five-star read, and I genuinely don't know how she does it. She creates a cast of characters you can't help but connect with, builds a story you become completely obsessed with, and delivers a twist that will leave your jaw on the floor wondering how on earth she pulled it off. Literary genius is not an exaggeration.
I devoured this book from start to finish. The cliffhanger ending had me desperate for more — and yet somehow, I'm not even mad about it. It's that good. Now I'll be stalking her page until Book 2 of this trilogy arrives.
