This was such a powerful, emotional, and satisfying read.

From the very first page, my heart absolutely broke for Mara. Watching her live under the constant control and criticism of the one person who was supposed to love her was heartbreaking. The way Visha Graves portrays emotional abuse felt so raw and realistic. You could feel the pressure building with every chapter, knowing something had to give.

The architect metaphor was woven throughout the story so beautifully. Mara was never seen as enough—always treated like a project that needed fixing instead of a person worthy of love. As the cracks in that “perfect” marriage started to show, I found myself rooting for her more and more.

Even though this is a shorter story, it never felt rushed. Every scene had purpose, the tension kept climbing, and when everything finally came together, it was incredibly satisfying. I couldn’t put it down because I needed to know how it would end.

Visha Graves has a way of taking heavy, emotional subjects and blending them with suspense that keeps you completely invested. Signal Fire is another fantastic addition to the Ironcliff Falls world, and I loved every second of it.

An easy five-star read that was emotional, empowering, and impossible to put down. I can’t wait for my next trip back to Ironcliff Falls! ⭐🔥
