This book was incredibly well-written! It's the first time I've read a domestic abuse story from a man's perspective, and I'm really glad Jafe Danbury explored that angle. Many men experience abuse from women, but they often feel too ashamed or embarrassed to report it. It's time to break this stigma.

Richie endured both mental and physical abuse from his wife for about 2 to 3 years. She wore him down in every possible way until he became a broken man, a mere shell of his former self.

Jafe skillfully evoked empathy for Richie. I felt his anguish deeply, and it also stirred up anger within me.

Knowing that this was Jafe's own story, I appreciate the strength it took for him to write it. I hope it provided some closure for him.

I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone—definitely check it out!

I absolutely loved this third book in the Phoenix series! Phoenix and her family have been through the ringer, and now there's a psychotic woman stalking, kidnapping, and murdering anyone in her way of getting the man she wants, Curt, Phoenix's husband.

This domestic thriller kept me on the edge of my seat as I furiously turned the pages to see what was going to happen next. The suspense ricocheted off the pages as each chapter flew by. This is a book about domestic violence but the perpetrator is the wife assaulting her husband so there is a different spin on it. The subject is not an easy one but the author does a great job of writing a different type of story about domestic violence. The whole book felt realistic and not overly exaggerated at all and I could easily see how there are cases of this in real life. Upon researching the author for this review, I was astounded to learn that this book is based on the author’s true story. The character development is excellent as is the plot. The chapters flowed by quickly and I was engrossed in this book so much that I finished it up in one sitting. I highly recommend this author and I have read all 4 of his books now! 4 stars

“So Much Forever,” is book three in the much beloved Phoenix Series. This is one of my all time favorite trilogies, and this one is an absolute gem!

Phoenix is one of my favorite characters to read about and I was over the moon that Jafe continued her story. I love her strength, gumption and how she will always fight for her family.
So Much Forever is a wonderful blend of suspense, terrifying moments, and twists. Honestly, I never know what to expect with a Jafe Danbury book, lol. He’s so brave and always dives into new territory. I can’t rave enough about how phenomenal this book is!

This novel picks up fourteen months after Curt and Phoenix rescued their daughter, Rose, from traffickers. The couple is now focused on Rose’s emotional well-being and reconnecting as a family during their spring break. However, as usual things aren't going to go smoothly for Phoenix and Curt. They find themselves in a dangerous situation that tests their resilience and love for each other.

Jafe’s writing shines in this book, particularly in his portrayal of Phoenix. Her strength and determination are unmistakable as she faces life-and-death scenarios to protect her family. As small as she is, she's a scrapper!!

Although this is the longest of Jafe's books, I totally got lost in this story and it kept me glued to the book from start to finish.

All-in-all, “So Much Forever” is a testament to Jafe’s talent for creating stories that are deeply moving and exhilarating.

What an intense ride!

Rich thinks he's found the one with Tami. They have everything: a new home, a dream wedding, and each other. However, things aren't always as they seem. Things get dark very quickly and the escalate into a cat and mouse game that will rip them apart.

This was a tough read at times, but only because the topic of abuse is not an easy one for anyone. The author approaches it with so much care and respect. I really connected with the characters and as the story ramped up, I got so worried what might happen.

I'll definitely have to check out more of his work! A tough, but very engaging read.
