Aww, what a fun, cozy, and quick read! I enjoyed every pacing, every steps of how the romance grows on Lily and Kier. I literally clapped my hands in satisfaction as I finished the last page thanks to Stormy’s immersive writing that gets me inside the story. Also, the ending still has me squealing with delight and a little bit of sparkly, happy tears today.

I really love the fact that Lily is a lonely librarian who’s also a powerful witch. Lily not knowing her strength is so relatable. It just captures a common trait that lonely people likely have, not knowing what they’re good at even when it’s obvious. And in this paranormal novella, tiny help from a tarot reader takes part on her superpower discovery after her accidental spell. Yay!

I laughed at Kier’s sudden appearance when they first met. Having Lily’s thoughts of the Pagan God, especially the fertility God, breaking into houses, is just too dark and yet too funny for me to handle. Hahaha.

So this novella will tell you what happens when Lily the librarian, randomly opens an ancient book on occult studies. Her duty is to pack up books over the whole Easter weekend, in an old, dusty house of someone named Howard who decides to leave his book collections to the library prior to his death. Getting intrigued on occult studies, Lily reads the book even though it’s not written in the language she understands. Without knowing when or how, she accidentally casts a spell that summons the fertility god into her life.
