I love a good short story!! This one is perfect for spooky season! Creepy, spooky, full of suspense!

It’s difficult to put into sentences how I feel about this book. Here are a few words that describe it:

Unique

Unsettling

Dark

Slow Burn

Tension

Heavy

Disturbing

This one starts out slow and to be honest, I almost gave up. But then, something changed, it clicked, the pace picked up a bit, I realized what I thought I was reading was wrong and I flew through the rest of it.

I really don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll just say, this is worth the read. It’s darker than it seems at first, and you will need time after reading it to completely process what you just read.

Something to keep in mind is this is a psychological suspense, not a thriller.
