My love of books started before school. Once I learned to read, I was absolutely enthralled by them—the smell of the pages and the adventures waiting inside. I would simply lose myself in the worlds I read about. From childhood to adulthood, books have been my one constant. Growing up, I traveled from the worlds of Enid Blyton to Joan Aiken and C.S. Lewis. As an adult, I love thrillers, gothic literature, and fantasy, but I will read anything. I especially love books that take you on a journey of murder, mayhem, and twists, an immersive fantasy world, or a wonderfully creepy gothic novel.
