 I was intrigued by the blurb of this story, and it did not disappoint. Evie is a great big sister doing her best with what she has. She suffers so much just because she is a witch and due to her bloodline name, Crowe. She struggles deeply and it broke my heart, but she is so strong and brave. I would have done the same as her if I were in her place. Belzareth is quite a character too. He sounds so ominous and powerful. I thought he was very entertaining and attractive. Maeve is a sweet character too and I adore her and her relationship with Evie and Bez. The banter is top notch in this story, and I love that it has plot even with erotic touches. The plot is unique where it is a trade of favors instead of her soul. The atmosphere feels intense with Bez from the start, he was fascinated with Evie before even actually meeting her. There are things we learn about him that I was stunned by and wow. The things he knows, and his experiences made me take notice of his smugness and aloofness. I really enjoy that even with him being an all-powerful incubus this is not just about sex to feed and be done. There is more to it and his power is incredible. I love how he projects himself around others and defends what is his. The spicy scenes were really well written, and they feel real even with the magic aspect. It feels possible, I guess would be more accurate. So much is happening in this book and yet so simple. I like the world building behind the scenes even though it is not in depth. I cannot wait to see what else happens next. I will be patiently waiting for Nastier to be available. I cannot wait.  I appreciate the opportunity to have early access to this story.
