The prophecy, the blood-moon mythology, and the unique twist on vampire lore were all strong elements with a lot of potential.</p><p></p><p>Unfortunately, it just didn’t hold my attention the way I hoped. There were moments that pulled me in, but overall the pacing and flow didn’t fully keep me engaged throughout the story. That said, the writing itself was solid, and the concept is definitely creative and original.</p><p></p><p>A good read with great ideas — just not quite gripping enough for me personally. Four stars</p>”

The world is harsh and unforgiving, with a city barely surviving under a ruthless council while an eerie Dragon Mist creeps closer, bringing sickness and fear with it. The stakes feel real, and you can't help but feel the desperation in every choice Stratos Bree makes.</p><p>What really stood out to me was the emotional core.</p><p>Beneath all the danger and chaos, this is a story about love, survival, and how far someone will go to protect their family. Stratos isn't perfect, but that's what makes his journey hit harder-he's raw, determined, and willing to risk everything.</p><p>The pacing kept me hooked, though there were a few moments where I wanted just a bit more depth or clarity in the world-building. Still, it didn't take away from the overall intensity and intrigue.</p><p>If you're into dark fantasy with high stakes, creeping dread, and a strong emotional drive, this is definitely worth picking up</p>”

“This was absolutely AMAZING!!! I loved it!! Tia is our FMC who falls into a land of myth and magic. Orcs, elves, and pixies are all real and homegirl from NYC is *not* made for that kind of adventure. She slowly finds true friends (and maybe a more-than-friend MMC 😘) as she races against the clock to find a way home. Tia isn’t sure if it is the sore muscles from learning to wield a sword or the orcs that will get her in the end, but sarcasm and wit might just see her through. Definite twists and turns that surprised me. I absolutely devoured this book and CANNOT WAIT for the next one!! ”
