Locked in a Stanger's Room by Spencer Guerrero - Author is OMG π€―
Now, going into this, I knew that Spencer was going to be great at writing a few twists that totally had my head spinning. So, the challenge was accepted, and I was guessing the whole way through, but let me tell you...challenge FAILlED! I NEVER even kinda saw that coming!
This book was such an excellent read and by far his darkest tale to date. I had me cringing, rooting on a few of the characters, and cursing others!
This definitely needs to be not only on your TBR but on your buy everyone you know a copy for the holidays!

The Dead Husband Club is one of those books that immerse you fast and keep you constantly second-guessing everything.
The story follows four women connected by the fact that their husbands all die under mysterious circumstances. From the moment the so-called βDead Husband Clubβ forms in the headlines thanks to an eager reporter, the tension never lets up.
The multiple POVs and changing perspectives kept me devouring each page at record speed without adding any confusion. Thereβs a constant undercurrent of unease, and I loved how nothing (and no one) ever felt completely safe or trustworthy.
As the secrets kept piling up and I finally thought I had it all figured out, the story took another twist leaving me not only fully invested but having to reflect on everything once it was all over.
If you like domestic thrillers with buried secrets, lots of twists, and escalating tension, this oneβs definitely worth the read.

At first I was kind of unsure about this book but as I got into it, it pulled me in and kept me there. This version of Hades and the way they explain the Underworld was amazing! I love that for once the Underworld wasn't all just like Hell but rather has its different levels and complexities. The depth of the characters was also perfection! Those that seemed shallow were in fact very deep the further in you get and the more you learn.
